Specialty Shapes

Silhouette® window shadings can be ordered for arches and angles. For these applications, only inside mounts are available and the shading will be stationary with the vanes in the open position. Tilt-only shadings are also an option for narrow windows. Tilt-only shadings cannot be raised or lowered, but vanes may be positioned anywhere from fully open to closed. Arches, Angles, and Tilt-only shadings are now available in both the two-inch and three-inch vane sizes.

Silhouette with PowerRise

For hard-to-reach windows, we offer PowerRise motorization.

PowerRise is a revolutionary, battery-operated, remote control system that's simple to operate. Point the sleek remote control toward the infrared eye on the headrail and press the button to raise or lower the shade. Touch the button again to stop the shade. Because there's no special wiring required, a Silhouette window shading with PowerRise is easy to install, operate and maintain.
  • Battery-operated -- Eight standard alkaline batteries provide all the power needed to operate your motorized shade. With normal use, the batteries will last for a year or more. Plus, they're quick and easy to replace when necessary. With the shading fully raised, just remove it from the window to remove the battery wand. The label on the wand illustrates proper battery orientation to help ensure the batteries are replaced correctly.
  • Satellite battery pack -- A satellite battery pack is optional for inside mounts, standard for outside mounts.
  • Satellite eye -- If the infrared eye on the headrail will be covered by a top treatment or cornice, you can order the optional satellite eye. It can be positioned up to 8' away from the headrail for easy, reliable operation. The satellite eye includes a manual control button.
  • Manual control button -- A manual control button for each shade is located next to the infrared eye on the headrail or on the satellite eye. The button can be used to operate the shade if the remote control is misplaced or if its batteries fail.
  • Channel Selection -- Two channels are available to operate Silhouette with PowerRise. Normally, channel one is the only channel needed. There may be special circumstances with adjacent or stacked shades, however, when channel two operation is desired for independent control of each shade.
